Our partnership with All Children Thrive (ACT) has allowed us to work with over 20 communities across California ensuring the wellbeing of the kids by transforming their communities into spaces that could allow them to thrive.

We strive to educate and share resources with the community and individuals in elected positions to ensure the safety of the kids is always a top priority. We wanted to pass along some new resources that could help give insight on how to provide the children in your community with the opportunity to thrive.

The first resource is a document that allows you use to data to improve the welfare of children through community action. The document is intended to assist ACT Design Teams, advocates, and local coalition facilitators who are working to assess community needs, identify health inequities and educate about the need for policy change that improves the lives of California’s children. Check out Utilizing Data to Improve Child Wellbeing Through Community Action.

The second resource, Connecting Families to Tax Credits to Improve Child Wellbeing in California: Brief for Local Health Departments and Children and Family Service Providers (Brief) is a tool to foster awareness about the benefits of filing taxes and the potential for families to receive important tax credits.

We hope these resources provide you with the necessary information to initiate change and provide a community for children to thrive.
